Background:

Coach Tarn, a native of Northern Virginia, has been deeply involved in sports throughout his life, particularly baseball, hockey, and basketball. He played all three as a youth, continuing at the collegiate club level (with baseball and hockey). Even after his college years, Tarn’s love for the game hasn't faded, as he remains active in recreational roller and ice hockey.

 

For the past two decades, Tarn has shared his passion for sports by coaching youth teams for his old club ice hockey program and his children's various organizations, instilling a love of the game and strong fundamentals in the next generation of athletes. He has served as a coach for the Cavalry organization, beginning at the 7U level, playing a key part in the development of young players both on and off the field.
